Hamza and Mariam celebrated their love with a beautiful Sunday reception at SKYLIGHT in late November.
The couple had held their ceremony a few days prior at a nearby Mosque.
Both the bride and groom noted that the most important aspect of their reception was to celebrate the union of their families.
But there was even more to celebrate! For their entire relationship, Mariam and Hamza had persevered through long-distance between Texas and Colorado, while Mariam finished her studies.
Finally, she was able to join Hamza in Colorado just a few days before they tied the knot!
Since the couple had been quite busy leading up to the wedding, they hired SKYLIGHT for Partial Planning, to ensure everything was organized, designed, and well-executed.
Their rust and ivory color palette was perfect for the Fall season, and the array of candles throughout the space created a simple and romantic atmosphere.
The couple utilized SKYLIGHT’s in-house draping and mobile walls as additions to their decor.
Guests were seated at family-style tables, underneath hanging greenery and beautiful glass tea light orbs provided by Mariam.
The biggest hit of the night was the group of drummers who performed throughout the evening.
After the performance, the couple held a “gold ceremony” where the bride was adorned in gold jewelry gifted by the family.
A plated meal was served by Biscuits and Berries, and traditional Arabic desserts and coffee were provided by the family later in the evening.
Guests danced the night away, and everyone enjoyed celebrating the lovebirds!
