Their vision was clear: a retro-inspired celebration with warm peachy, orange, and mustard tones, a touch of boho charm, and a late-night dance party that their guests would never forget.

The couple’s aesthetic vision came to life with the help of Project Floral, who created a stunning and funky floral installation featuring disco balls, strung flowers, greenery, and fringe chandeliers from The Borrowing Bride. The vibrant, retro palette was a delightful blend of warm hues, perfectly setting the stage for an unforgettable celebration.
Cat and Brad had their hearts set on a checkered dance floor, and 828 Planner, Erin, knew just how to make it happen. She suggested custom colorful checkered tiles that matched their color scheme, resulting in a unique and vibrant dance space where guests could let loose and celebrate the night away.
A Seamless Celebration
The couple opted for a quick, heartfelt ceremony followed by a cocktail-style reception. Catering by Design kept the festivities flowing with a constant stream of passed appetizers, allowing guests the freedom to dance, relax on the lounges, or mingle in our charming back courtyard. The evening was a perfect blend of elegance and fun, exactly as Cat and Brad had envisioned.
Music and Merriment
Music was a central part of the celebration, with Diamond Empire Band kicking off the dance party with classic hits that got everyone on their feet. As the night wore on, a DJ took over, keeping the energy high and the dance floor packed until 1:30 am. SKYLIGHT’s flexible rental hours made it the perfect venue for Cat and Brad’s late-night revelry.
A Personal Touch
Every detail of the wedding was carefully considered, reflecting Cat and Brad’s unique personalities and love story. They even included their beloved cat in the festivities with a signature cocktail by SKYLIGHT Beverage, the “Nini Martini,” and custom matchbook guest favors.
